The transformation of this key line set new benchmarks in innovation in operational model, design and customer experience. As a result of the work the like for like trading improved significantly and the ‘shopping experience’ received positive customer feedback.
The offers were designed as part of the clients’ new vision for their existing estate, creating ‘shops within shops’ with their own distinct look and feel to replace the existing in store bakeries, offering a unique and new customer experience.
The main roll out involved the development of ’format plans’ that set design principles for the roll out application across the different formats and the development of a ‘roll out manual’, which encapsulate all the components that made up the design. In total this manual comprised over 400 elements ranging from technical equipment and lighting to branding and joinery.
