Experiential Destination Hotel, U.K.

Unique ‘natural world’ themed fit-out of 140 key hotel, designed to bring the wildlife park experience into the hotel, with ‘desert’, ‘sky’, and ‘forest’ rooms. Masterplanning, Architecture and Interior Design

The fit-out of a 120 key experiential destination hotel, part of a £50 million extension to the leading Uk walk-through safari park, Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The hotel will form the centre piece of extensive new areas of animal attractions, outdoor leisure amenities and a wide range of visitor supporting facilities including restaurants and shops. The hotel is conceived as a continuation of a visit to the park. The design provides three styles of room based around the concept of ‘nature’ to compliment the function and character of the park- ‘desert’, ‘sky’, and ‘forest’. The rooms, of which there are 5 types- ranging from basic and family to suite, are articulated in a distinct hexagonal form in plan, with large slot-type windows providing framed views of the park and animals beyond.
